The objective of conservative dentistry is the repair of teeth damaged by caries, fractures, trauma or erosion, in all its phases.
Caries: it is a destructive process of the tooth. At first it does not present symptoms, but as it advances and approaches the nerve, it provokes sensitivity to the cold and later also to the heat. Finally, the sensitivity becomes transformed into pain. If the nerve has not been affected, the proper treatment is a filling or reconstruction, depending on the size of the caries.
